Ken's  Trip  Diary  --  Philippines 2002
After a good nights sleep, we went out for the day and stopped at a few different places. We stopped at the Taoist Temple and also went to the mall again for some things, and also to a travel agency in the mall to book a flight to go down to Davao. The Taoist Temple -- Located at Beverly Hills, Cebu City. This temple preserves the teachings of Lao-Tse, the 600 B.C. Chinese philosopher. Everyday people climb its 99 steps to light joss sticks and have their fortune read. I had another pen pal from Davao that I only considered a friend, but it ended up that she thought more of me. I was still learning quite a bit. She was a very nice and pretty girl, but the person I met at the airport in Cebu was the one who stole my heart before I even met her. While in Davao, we stayed at a really nice hotel (which I cant remember the name of) with a restaurant on the fifth floor and an awesome sight of the surrounding area. There was also a small mountain near by and it had a restaurant on top. We went there on the second night and had a really good meal while two guitarists and one bass player went from table to table taking request for songs.
Earlier that day, we went someplace called, “The Philippine Eagle” It was like a small zoo or something, as it had the Chocolate Hills are in the background just a few animals there, but it really was worth going. (First crocodile or alligator I ever saw in person, but couldn’t get a picture because it was under this big fan hanging over it) I tried a fruit there that looked very similar to a grape fruit here, but tasted much sweeter. After staying two nights in Davao, we left back for Cebu and made reservations for Boracay. The reservations weren’t for a couple of days, so we took the Super Cat (high speed ferry) over to Bohol and hired someone to take us around the island in his van. My friend, her good friend, and I., spent a really nice day seeing tourist spots all over the island. A statue of Magellan was the first stop, then a 1500’s church, a bamboo bridge over a river, (That I deemed unsafe for me to cross, yet my friend practically ran half way out on it) a tarsier-viewing place, theboat ride for lunch up a really nice river. That lasted a little over an hour and was quite romantic Chocolate Hills, and a boat ride for lunch up a really nice river. That lasted a little over an hour and was quite romantic actually. Of all the places that I did go to, I really want to go back to Bohol again. We then went back towards the Super Cat, but made one stop to pick up some Calamay, which tasted very nice.  Click here for more pictures of the Chocolate Hills and boat cruise

My book has become much larger than I had expected because there is soooo much to share.
So many courtships between Filipina and Western gentlemen end in heartbreak for no good reason - simple misunderstandings.  Well, maybe not so simple, but most are easily avoidable.  That is why frank and detailed insights into courtship from our perspective are so important for Western gentlemen to successfully avoid misunderstandings during courtship with my sister Filipina.  I have spent over a year researching and writing a book, Filipina Courtship Secrets.   As I have interviewed hundreds of Filipina during my Personal Searches for European and American gentlemen, I have gathered intimate information that I reveal to you.  I have answered the many questions you have ask me this past year.  CLICK here for short list of questions I answer.   Intimate secrets that are not in other books or websites - that is for sure!  As an E-book I will continually update & add content (already over 4 Megabytes & 500 files).
