After arriving in Cebu, we got ready for Boracay, as the next day, early in the morning, we were leaving. We woke up early and left for the airport by taxi and when we got to our flight, it was just a tiny two-prop airplane. We took off and I think it was about an hour’s flight to get there. Upon seeing this small plane, it made me nervous, but it was a smooth ride, only very loud. Once we got there, a guy in a bus picked us up and brought us to where we would get the boat to leave for the resort we were staying at.
It was only a short time, and once it was there, we boarded with many other people. The boat was quite full and we took off and made two stops before getting to our resort. When they would let people off, they would just put a plank of wood into the water and you would walk down and then to shore. Well, luckily while there, I had bought sandals so I changed into them real quick. |
We got to our resort and when we walked into the water, it was just so nice and warm and very nice sand with no rocks in it. We checked in, they took us to our room and this place was just awesome to me. The name of the resort was
Jony’s. According to the tour packages that we looked at, this one was the cheapest priced, yet very, very nice. It cost us $371 for a three days two nights stay. Money well spent in my opinion. There is a website for them that you could browse for more information. (I don’t know the address though. Try typing in Boracay
Jony’s) Anyway, our first day there, we did a bit of swimming and walking along the beach and took lots of photos. While walking down the beach, the most important part of the trip happened to me, which seemed like the most romantic part also. I asked my friend to come to the U.S. on a fiancée visa, to which she said yes.
( on this beach anyone would say yes :-)
