I didn’t propose to her, but let her know my intentions of possibly wanting to marry her after seeing how she likes life here in the states. That first night, I had squid adobo and it was absolutely amazing. I doubt I’ll even find another meal so good here in the states. The next morning, we had our complimentary breakfast out at the beach and then swam some more before taking a boat trip to some neighboring islands. I had left my wallet in our hotel room and because of that, we weren’t able to go into the first place that they stopped us at. Instead, we walked on the beach and my friend and I picked up some coral that I now have displayed on my dresser. After about three hours, we got back to the beach resort and did more swimming. We both dove off the boat quite far from shore and I swam the rest of the way, while she hung on to the pontoon. I then went to my room real quick and gave them the money for the trip that we had received. |
| That night for dinner, I had a seafood platter that I will never find here in the states. It had so much seafood I just could not eat it all. (Actually, I don’t see how any Filipino person could eat the whole thing) Very good tasting seafood. Our second night there, right after the seafood dinner, I went back to the hotel room and brought down my bottle of champagne that I brought over with me. We had asked the first night if we could have it on the beach and they said no, so the second night I kind of sneaked it down, wrapped up in the sarong that I had been given. Once I got down to the beach, she asked them about it again and we ended up sharing it with the staff since they were so nice. The sunset that night was so beautiful and I was lucky enough to get a picture of it. Also, that second night, right before sunset, this young girl built an absolutely beautiful sand castle and then used bottles for lights on them. Shortly after the champagne, we went back to our room and once again, I was the first one sleeping.
